Wednesday, November 11th - So this is kind of interesting, and while I realize that I have only 19 more days this month, I bet I can crank out something close to the 50,000 word goal by the end of the month.  Of course, I guessing my loyal readers probably believe differently.

While it's true I have been known to have some trouble forming coherent thoughts and maintain them for more than a few days, I think this might be the answer for me and my "need" to write.

The idea that I should care more about quantity than quality for the sake of this contest is intriguing, and frankly as good as any of the reasons I have to not start/finish these things.

Other than that, life is sort of on an even keel right now.  Job duties are stabilizing, family responsibilities are pretty good right now.  E and I are getting along, and other than Jake trying to climb the curtains, the family is doing well.

There is of course the innate belief that I have a writing genius in me...a lazy, unmotivated, procrastinating genius, but a genius nonetheless.  Only a genius (or a lawyer) can get away with using the word nonetheless and not sound incredibly pretentious.

So this seems to be popping into my life at a good time.  For me anyway.  If you want to read what I've got so far, shoot me an e-mail.  It's pretty bad, but not comically bad to the point that I'm willing to share with everyone just yet.

So until later...toodles.
